Results of the 2019 Suffolk County police officer exam have been released and can be found on the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service website at https://www.suffolkcountyny.gov/Departments/Civil-Service. The Suffolk County Police exam now includes Situational Judgment questions in addition to other traditional police test topics. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Social Services, Counseling, Criminal Justice or other areas related to human services; an equivalent combination of training and experience may substitute for education.
